I normally don’t give reviews but felt it necessary to recognize Morristown Post Acute and Nursing Center for the excellent care my husband received following a major surgery. This facility is modern and super clean. Housekeeping kept my husband’s room immaculate. There were many dietary options which were always served hot. I would like to thank Daisy, who made so many phone calls on our behalf in regard to arranging the transfer from a previous rehab to Morristown Post Acute. I also want to acknowledge Dr. Farkas, who provided my husband excellent care during his stay. Karl and Kristen, the respiratory therapists were phenomenal in providing the training we needed. The physical therapists were super supportive in getting my husband up and walking again. Many thanks to the social workers, Martine and Meshell for their patience in answering my countless questions. We also want to thank Nurse Jerry, for his calm and pleasant demeanor. He was always willing to help when we needed him. Aleeza, the transitional APN was exceptional in staying on top of everything. Lastly, I would like to mention Felice, who always greeted us with a warm smile. If you are looking for a rehabilitation facility for your loved one I strongly recommend Morristown Post Acute and Nursing Center.

This is an exceptional facility to be in when you need to get back on your feet. The entire team is pleasant, super friendly and most importantly caring; the aides keep you so clean – it’s unreal. I was shocked myself on the care, the friendly rehabilitation staff, the nurses, activities, housecleaning . . . Everyone is a 10 star and that makes this place highly recommended. The facility is very clean and new. The staff treats the patients with dignity and like members of their family. They are patient and very helpful to the family members who come visit.

Her stay was very fruitful as she regained her strength! This enables her to go forward and face the life-saving chemo and surgery at Morristown. The staff was superb. All staff made a neat and tidy appearance in coordinated scrubs. Their manners were impeccable. The room was well appointed. The facility was attractive both indoors and outdoors. In fact, the entrance reminded us of an upscale hotel! The meals were tasty. When the family was asked to choose a facility we chose yours based on ratings and proximity to the hospital We are glad we did.
Although we pray that my sister will not need rehab care again, I certainly will endorse your facility to others.

My Dad (who is 95) was treated with respect and dignity. Care was very thorough. After interviewing eight facilities in the area, I am so glad I choose Morristown Post Acute Rehab. The facility is very clean and my Dad was in a private room on the 5th floor. The rehab center is top notch…They have everything a patient would need to get stronger and gain independence. The food was excellent, many choices and always hot! There are activities every day and a calendar is provided to the patient. The staff was kind and willing to help in any way. I have so many names I would love to list as exceptional in their field, here are just a few…. Meir, Maxine, Colleen, Karen, Mary, Aleeza, Hailey, Shelby, Lovely, Sarran, Benedict, Fabiola, Daisy, Zakiyah, Chanelle, Saidou, Nefertiti, and so many more!! I can’t thank everyone enough for a very positive experience. I would highly recommend this facility for rehabilitation!

I had 2 stays here since Allaire took over management. I will say both stays I was treated extremely well by ALL staff members. I was admitted with a large wound on my right thigh. I forgot the name of the nurse who specializes in wound care but will say I received the best care possible. I watched as he taught another nurse how to dress a deep wound requiring a wound vacuum. The nurses, as well as the aides, were always responsive and helped make my 40-day stay as comfortable as possible. The physical as well as occupational staff encouraged and pushed me to help achieve the most to overcome my challenges. Morty was the director at the time and checked on me regularly. I highly recommend MPA to all as I believe it to be the best in Morristown. And I have stayed at the other facilities. Nothing compares to the care and treatment I received.

My mom has had three stays here and I have to say this facility has been nothing short of outstanding. I am extremely particular and after placing my mom in two other facilities that were absolutely horrible, this facility was a blessing. They have a heart unit which most facilities don’t and they work directly with Morristown Medical Center to avoid the patient having to go back and forth between rehab and hospital multiple times. Their new administrator, Yosef, is second to none and is easy accessible and always there to help. I would, without hesitation, place any loved one here.

My husband was cared for at Morristown Post Acute for one week after a hospital stay. Overall it was a very good experience. The facility is clean and the meals were varied and hot! In general, there is a very positive tone between the staff and the residents.
Aleeza, the Transitional Care Nurse, is on top of patient needs. She is in frequent contact with Marc Silberberg, the Assistant Administrator, to meet needs that arise. Our impression is that this administration strives to be effective, and professional and to resolve any issues.
The nursing and rehabilitation staff were most critical to my husband’s care. Joyce, the 5th floor Unit Manager was always there when needed. Judy, APN a hospitalist coordinated medical assessments for my husband. She was key in assuring he had correct medicines and treatments.
The nursing staff could not be outdone. For example, nurse Dominique Henderson went beyond what could be expected for my husband. Other 5th floor nurses, John, Carol, Agnes and Estine were diligent and capable.
Other stand-outs at this facility are Cynthia Go, an Occupational Therapist, and Saheli Patel, a Physical Therapist, both motivated my husband to work hard. They are knowledgable and skilled therapists.
Everyone whom we met staff, residents, and maintenance crews were all very friendly and seemed happy to be there. We are grateful to all.

My grandma is leaving the facility tomorrow. While she was here everyone was very alert and attentive. Whenever anyone walked in the door they had a smile on their face and was eager to help. The facility is clean and homey. The therapists were kind and beyond helpful. Her time here was more than expected leaving her at night I knew she was in good hands to take care of her 🙂

The staff here has been PHENOMENAL with their accommodations for my father. Bless all of them; they are truly doing God’s work.
In May, my father went in for a total knee replacement… For his acute he went to Kessler and unfortunately Covid derailed him from a strong start. He later came home for a visiting nurse and shortly after a couple days we were met with the reality that he wanted to continue to be in a medical facility. With luck, and what I personally feel is destiny, Morristown Post Acute Rehabilitation was where he strongly continues his recovery. The thing I learned about being an advocate, don’t ask and don’t get… The staff are here to help you and your love ones get through some of the most challenging steps of your journey. The doctors, the nurses, and all of the staff that does the heavy lifting behind the scenes… are ALL amazing. There is much experience within this facility and your needs will be met. Communication is key and they listen. I cannot respect these people more than I do.
I’m looking forward to telling our story to others and highly recommending to go to this facility for your rehabilitation needs. With their state-of-the-art rehab lab… you are in good hands. Trust me.

After endless searches, came across Morristown Post Acute Rehabilitation & Nursing Facility. There are several reasons this facility stands apart but one stands alone, they are close to the hospital. As in any circumstance if you need to seek emergency aid, this facility is located next to the hospital. Therefore your loved one will not have to be transported far away from this rehabilitation facility.
When you are seeking a rehabilitation facility you also want to make sure that all of your questions will be answered prior to arrival.
At Morristown they have an Impeccable team, they will greet and make you feel right at home plus answer any questions or concerns that you may have during your journey with your loved one. In closing I will admit the spacious Facility plus sanitation is bar none!!!

My mom is at Morristown Post Acute for rehab following surgery. This place is amazing!! The new owners bring much-needed energy into this facility. The positive changes can really be felt throughout the building!! The food is tasty and appealing, and the place is so clean. Would recommend this facility to anybody.
