Brand-New Luxurious Subacute Unit

When you’re looking for a place to recover after a hospital stay, you want more than a hospital-like setting. We believe that a subacute unit should support every aspect of your physical and emotional recovery. We’ve designed and built our new subacute unit to support your physical and emotional needs so you can heal in privacy and comfort.  “At Morristown Post-Acute our moto is ‘YOUR health is OUR priority,” Administrator Eli Freund, LNHA says. “We are so excited as we grow our clinical programs and focus our efforts on continuing to Revolutionize Care Delivery! With our newly renovated hotel-style suites, our residents have peace of mind knowing both their physical and mental needs are being met with expertise.” Our subacute unit is composed of 33 rooms, which are mostly private. Inside of these hotel-like rooms you’ll find plenty of space and a modern, clean décor that is both refreshing and relaxing. Take our virtual tour to see for yourself. You’ll find high-quality, intuitive hospital beds and ample seating for guests. Each room is equipped with a private bath where every detail has been considered. Even the toilet flush handles are at standing height, so you don’t have to bend to flush!

The lobby and lounge areas of our skilled nursing home match the luxury and style of our private rooms. So does the dining room, which offers long-term care residents and subacute patients delicious and nutritious meals in a fine dining environment. Unlike typical nursing home communities, our menu is always available, and we have a patient concierge available to support you and fulfill your needs.

Our new subacute unit also has a brand-new therapy gym! This quiet and focused space has cutting-edge equipment to support every kind of recovery regimen.

Skilled Nursing Clinical Excellence

Luxury is lovely, but you choose a subacute unit to recover, and we take our part in your recovery very seriously. Our exceptional skilled nursing staff ensure clinical excellence at our facility through our partnership with Morristown Hospital, which is right next door. Morristown Hospital has just been nationally recognized in Cardiac and Ortho, two programs which we are affiliated with. Those with heart or orthopedic issues can rest assured that they are getting the best healthcare in the country.

At Morristown Center we are also experts in wound care and work under the direction of a vascular surgeon and board-certified wound nurse practitioner. We can perform e-stem, diathermy, wound VAC therapy and have dynamic pressure relief mattresses to aid in your healing and recovery.

You may also be curious about our pulmonary program. Those with COPD, pneumonia, congestive heart failure, and many more conditions will benefit from our respiratory therapist support.

Our Future Plans
